4 WAYS TO ORGANIZE & REFRESH YOUR LIFE

By November 26, 2014 No Comments

Welcome to the Organized by Olive blog! I am looking forward to sharing organizing methods with you that are realistic, economical, and easy to maintain. I would love for you to discover the benefits of an organized life. It takes time & effort to organize your home & life, but the results can bring refreshing changes! Here are four ways that I have found that organizing your home will change your life for the better:

1. Organize & simplify your life.

Too often we surround ourselves with items that monopolize our space and drain our energy. William Morris suggested this instead:

“Have nothing in your life that you do not know to be useful or believe to be beautiful.”

2. Organize and use time efficiently.

Most people waste time every day looking for lost or misplaced items. Quickly find what you are looking for & easily return items to their logical “homes.”

3. Organize & save money.

Use coupons before they expire, eliminate buying duplicate or unnecessary items, and develop a monthly routine for paying bills to avoid late fees.

4. Organize & gain peace of mind.

Take some time to envision a clutter-free home. Think about how it would be to relax & enjoy sitting in your living room without the distraction of clutter and visual chaos. Imagine leaving home each morning with a calm spirit. When you decide to organize, (and roll up your sleeves to do the work), then you can make that vision a reality!

The purpose of this blog will be to share organizing tips that enable you to make decisions that enhance your current season of life. Take advantage of the opportunity to organize your home so that it works for you, right here, right now. The changes will be refreshing! I hope you will share your questions, comments, and suggestions with me! Together we can learn new routines, discover new methods, and accomplish refreshing results. Come along and invite a friend!

Today’s question: What area of your home is the most difficult to keep organized?
